The pink and white hues of cherry blossom trees surround festivalgoers at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Vancouver, B.C. This festival gives visitors the opportunity to see one of the world’s most spectacular collection of cherry blossom trees in all their spring splendor. Japan originally donated about 800 of the trees in the early 1930s. In Japanese culture, these trees are believed to bring peace and inner strength. Since then, the number of cherry blossom trees in Vancouver has grown to 43,000.

Visitors will be able to attend a Cherry Jam Concert of Japanese music with drumming songs and other international music, enjoy a night display filled with colorful lights and even picnic in Queen Elizabeth Park surrounded by colorful blossoms.
