Watch as a hometown parade lights up downtown’s Sherman Avenue November 29, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. as Coeur d’Alene brings the holiday spirit with marching bands, music, dancing and festive floats. Then join them for a spectacular firework display and as they flip the switch to see over 1.5 million twinkling lights illuminating Lake Coeur d’Alene. Take a lake cruise and Journey to the North Pole where Santa reads every child’s name from his Nice List, listen to carolers in The Coeur d’Alene Resort lobby, and story time with elves. Enjoy nightly milk and cookies delivered by elves to your room on overnight stays and more.

Holiday Lake Cruises

The city is proud to showcase the largest on-the-water holiday light display in America. The Coeur d’Alene Resort offers a variety of Holiday Lake Cruises starting Thanksgiving Day and continuing through New Year’s Day. The signature “Journey to the North Pole” Holiday Lake Cruise visits Santa’s Toy Workshop where America’s tallest floating Christmas tree towers above with thousands of twinkling lights. Santa’s elves will even put on a special firework show during your visit to the North Pole.
