Spokane Oktoberfest, an authentic German celebration, returns to Spokane Valley CenterPlace for the 5th annual Spokane Oktoberfest with a community celebration of all things Bavarian. Spokane Valley CenterPlace provides indoor and outdoor areas for games, festivities, live music, dancing, plenty to eat and drink, easy access from I-90 and free parking.
Local craft brewers will be in attendance, and there will of course be German bier and food and a root bier garden for kids and families. Compete in Quaffing; slinging beer across a bar top and stick around for the wiener dog races on Sunday.
The bands at this year’s Oktoberfest have all played at Leavenworth’s Oktoberfest at one time or another. The bands will perform throughout the entire event on two stages (one indoors and one outdoor tent).
The Oktoberfest takes place September 27-29, kicking off on Friday September 27 at 4:00 p.m. Day tickets are $10, children 12 and under are free and after 9:00 p.m. the event becomes 21 and over.
A portion of the proceeds will go towards supporting the mission of the Wishing Star Foundation. Wishing Star grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses between the ages of 3 and 21, living in Spokane, the Tri-Cities and local outlying areas.
