Not only will June 1st see the launch of “Idaho Wines Fly Free” for the Boise and Lewiston airports, but it’s also the first day of Idaho Wine Month! In May of 2009, Idaho’s Governor Otter declared June Idaho Wine Month to encourage local consumers to drink local. As wine lovers, we all know we don’t reserve our favorite wines to drink in a single month, so in June make sure those favorites are from one of Idaho’s spectacular wineries. Look to local restaurants, retail stores and wine shops to offer specials during the month of June. Don’t miss some of the great wine events and specials offered by wineries.
