While Idaho wines are receiving national acclaim, the winemakers are friendly, approachable and willing to share their stories. Schedule a tour, drop in for a tasting and enjoy a weekend in Idaho Wine Country.

The Idaho Wine Commission, Visit Idaho and Alaska Airlines are proud to connect you with this growing wine destination. Throughout the state you’re sure to find an Idaho wine to suit your palate. When you visit Idaho wineries, you can get home easily and for less on Alaska Airlines. As a Mileage Plan™ member, you’ll be able to check your first case of Idaho wines at no additional cost. Save the complexity for the wine, not the flight!

Not only will June 1st see the launch of “Idaho Wines Fly Free” for the Boise and Lewiston airports, but it’s also the first day of Idaho Wine Month! In May of 2009, Idaho’s Governor Otter declared June Idaho Wine Month to encourage local consumers to drink local. As wine lovers, we all know we don’t reserve our favorite wines to drink in a single month, so in June make sure those favorites are from one of Idaho’s spectacular wineries. Look to local restaurants, retail stores and wine shops to offer specials during the month of June. Don’t miss some of the great wine events and specials offered by wineries. But most importantly, make sure you celebrate Idaho Wine Month by toasting with a delicious glass of Idaho wine!
