Golden is a mountain playground in winter. There are so many activities when the snow is on the ground that it takes several days just to try them all. From the excellent groomed runs at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, to manicured skate ski loops at the Dawn Mountain Cross Country facility there are a ton of fun things to do in Golden. Take the kids tobogganing at Snake Hill, go dog-sledding or rev up a snowmobile and take a tour deep into the mountains.
