This winter, exercise your brain cells by engaging your sense of adventure, without having to go outdoors, at the Fort Nisqually Escape Room. A trend that has been on the rise for game nights, escape rooms are an excellent choice for a night of fun. Located at historic Fort Nisqually, you can rent an escape room for an hour, and then do your best to solve your way out of the room.

There are two award-winning escape room options for you to choose from. The first one is called “Arrested: Escape Fort Nisqually,” a blend of mystery, intrigue and history as you work against the clock to discover crucial secrets. The second room is called “Trapped: Escape Fort Nisqually,” and the goal is to find freedom by uncovering the secrets of a trapper. “Arrested” accommodates groups of up to 10, while “Trapped” accommodates eight people. The rates start at $250, and the escape rooms must be reserved in advance.

Once you have solved your puzzle, experience the rest of the Fort and the Living Museum. On December 7th, 2019, the Fort is holding an event called Christmas Regale, exploring what Christmas used to be like as you celebrate with historic, costumed reenactors and even learn to make a traditional yule log.
