A great way to unwind any time of year is to immerse yourself in the tranquil Pacific Northwest natural scenery by taking on the best hikes near Ocean Shores, Washington.

Head south of The Polynesian Resort and you’ll come to the North Jetty, where you can watch huge, rolling waves surge against the rock wall. Further on, Damon State Park, to the southwest of the peninsula, provides majestic views of the Olympic Mountains to the north, Grays Harbor to the east and the town of Westport to the south. Wildlife is abundant here too, and it’s not unusual to see seal families resting on the rocks.
