This summer, visitors to Alaska will be able to experience a new Denali Backcountry Adventure. The new tour takes guests deep into untamed Alaska along the original Denali Highway, one of the most spectacular drives in the world.
Guests will embark on a 65-mile journey along the rugged highway to experience the wonders of true northern wilderness. The stunning landscape is a photographer’s dream, from the glacier-peaked mountains of the Alaska Range to the lush terrain sprinkled with crystal-clear lakes and babbling brooks.
The local tour guides will ensure you have the best opportunities to experience quintessential Alaska activities and see the vast natural landmarks of the region. The tour includes a stop at the breathtaking Alaska Range Overlook, this viewpoint provides picturesque views of Mt. Hayes, 13,832 feet; Mt. Hess, 11,940 feet; and Mt. Deborah, 12,339 feet.
Traveling along the Denali Highway also allows guests to get up close and personal with Alaska’s backcountry. Guests will experience the wilderness with ample opportunities for unrestricted stops, guided hikes and distinctive Alaska activities such as gold panning and wildlife viewing.
