Get your last fall kicks with a trip to the Olympic Peninsula—a stretch of fun-filled activates to end this autumn with a bang.

The Olympic Peninsula Wine and Cider Harvest Tour is one way to spread the last of your November cheer. This event goes from November 11th-13th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located in nine wineries and cideries on the Peninsula. Not only is this a great getaway, it is also a way to find the perfect wine or cider to impress friends and family with at holiday parties and gatherings.

If you want to get a jump on the holiday season with the whole family, go to the Quilcene Holiday Bazaar. Here, you can get those Santa Pictures in a whole new location, shop for unique, handmade, gifts for loved ones, and get lots of goodies from their traditional bake sale. Don’t forget, the holidays are all about giving. Also, at the bazaar, there is a canned food drive—donate while you shop; the proceeds go to the local food bank in Quilcene.

Chevy Chase Beach Cabins is a great place to come back to for the duration of your stay. Off the beaten path but still only ten minutes from Port Townsend, Chevy Chase has amazing views of the water, sweet and affordable cabins, and even a selection of DVDs in the main house.

Nothing beats the Olympic Peninsula this November—drive only a few hours and be in a whole different world. For more information on the Olympic Peninsula, head over to: http://www.olympicpeninsula.org/.
