There is no better way to spend time with loved ones than by riding on a horse drawn sleigh at Double Arrow Lodge. It is located in the pristine snow-covered landscape of Seeley Lake, in Western Montana. The sleigh leaves directly from the Main Lodge and will take you on a scenic tour through the snowy meadows at the base of the Swan Mountain Range.

The Double Arrow Lodge operates a large sleigh that fits up to 14 people and a smaller sleigh that fits just 2. If you chose the smaller, bell-adorned, antique cutter sleigh you’ll be sent off with some hot rocks to warm your feet, a buffalo robe to curl up in and some champagne to sip as you glide through the glistening landscape. The sleigh ride feels timeless as the horses pull you though this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

When you return to the Lodge, spend some time warming up by the lounge fireplace where you can enjoy a mug of hot chocolate or a more potent libation. The fire overlooking the meadow is the perfect place to appreciate the relaxing Montana winter vista.

Double Arrow Lodge also offers a number of other winter activities such as snowmobiling, down-hill and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. To book your stay, visit For more information on traveling through Western Montana, go to
