Building a town from the ground up is no easy task. It requires clear vision, rigorous planning and precision execution. That’s precisely what co-founder and CEO Casey Roloff employed when he built the community of Seabrook on the central coast of Washington.
Seabrook appears to have been plucked from an earlier era, designed to evoke a sense of nostalgia in its residents and visitors. This walkable and cyclable community has more than eight distinct neighborhoods, each with its own character. Oceanfront neighborhoods include the Pacific Glen, Northwest Glen and Elk Creek. Neighborhoods closest to Seabrook’s hub include Town Center, South of Market, Alderwood and the Mill District. Neighborhoods closest to the town’s eastern boundaries include the Farm District, South Farm and the newly developed Fernwood.
Hundreds of homes of varying sizes and styles house residents and vacationers throughout the neighborhoods, and each home has its own personality and its own name. Seabrook is an ideal spot for family vacations, romantic getaways, gatherings of friends and even solo retreats. Rental homes range in size from quaint one-bedroom cottages to a mansion that sleeps 20 (perfect for family reunions) and everything in between. All homes are beautifully styled with décor and furnishings that fit the community’s aesthetic.
Dozens of merchant shops, businesses and eateries populate the town center, and 18 parks serve as outdoor gathering places. And, of course, the expansive Pacific beach provides the ultimate playground.
In line with the Seabrook lifestyle, restaurants are casual. Eleven eateries include The Sweet Life and Vista Bakeshop to satisfy sweet-tooth cravings, Growler’s Alley Beer Garden and The Stowaway Wine Bar to quench your thirst, Frontager’s Pizza Co. for exceptional wood-fired pizza and other Italian fare, and many others.
The fitness amenities available at Seabrook keep guests returning again and again. They include fat-tire bike rentals for beach cycling, complimentary equipment available for lawn and sport-court games, a fitness center and indoor pool, and a playground for the kids.
This is a leisure community that has it all, even planned seasonal entertainment and social events that visitors are welcome to attend.
Seabrook is located about 140 miles from Seattle and 170 miles from Portland. Learn more about vacationing at Seabrook at seabrookwa.com. Check out the Grays Harbor region at visitgraysharbor.com.
