Celebrate Oregon Wine Month in Tualatin Valley

Celebrate Oregon Wine Month, the official statewide month of wine discovery and development. As the home of some of the oldest vines in the Willamette Valley, Tualatin Valley is the ideal location for your Oregon Wine Month adventure.

Spring is a great time to visit wine country. Not only can you enjoy the great outdoors on many sprawling vineyard patios or lawns, but you can also mix it up with the light flavors of white wines and rosé.

We invite you to celebrate Oregon Wine Month in Tualatin Valley this May. This year festivities are being expanded throughout the month. Sit back and enjoy the views and try our world-class wines with a visit to wine country.

Throughout the month, wineries in Tualatin Valley are commemorating the month with special tastings and events.

One of the valley’s oldest and most revered wineries, Ponzi Vineyards, is hosting a fun and educational event each Saturday in May.  “The Art of Winemaking” features a tour from a wine ambassador, who will explain the fundamentals of winemaking in this interactive and engaging experience. Starting in the vineyard and ending in the cellar, this one-of-a-kind experience includes a tasting of Ponzi’s current release chardonnays and pinot noirs.

Whether your travels take you to Oregon’s wine country in May or any other month in the year, be sure to visit Tualatin Valley, the closest wine country to Portland. Learn more at tualatinvalley.org.
