Maryhill Winery & Amphitheater is gearing up for a full season of events, including live music on the vine-covered terrace and an electrifying 2016 Summer Concert Series featuring chart toppers Tears for Fears, Grammy winning guitarists Jeff Beck & Buddy Guy, and rock ‘n’ roll crooner Chris Isaak.
The series is set in a 4,000-seat amphitheater that’s integrated into the natural slope of an expansive outdoor lawn, offering panoramic views of Mount Hood and the Columbia River Gorge as well as the surrounding vineyards.
Every weekend afternoon from Memorial Day through September, the terrace becomes a stage for some of the industry’s most talented performers. Featuring folk, jazz, blues and everything in between, “Live Music on the Terrace” is a free, family- and dog-friendly music event, with performances on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Visitors can also enjoy wine tastings, tours, special events, picnicking and tournament-quality bocce courts. Maryhill sources more than 30 unique varietals of grapes from some of the most highly regarded vineyards in Washington, and produces more than 50 wines. Drawing wine enthusiasts from around the world, Maryhill is one of Washington’s top 5 wineries with over 3,000 distinguished awards.
