Priest Lake is truly ‘Sensational In All Seasons’. Nowhere else in the Northwest will you find the incredibly rare combination of first class, award winning lodging and dining establishments located in a setting of pristine lakes, spectacular mountains and opulent forests. These elements all merge into a vacation experience that is very relaxed, uncrowded and unhurried.

Priest Lake vacations have been a tradition for generations. Why not begin your traditional Priest Lake family vacation this year as so many have done over the past decades? It’s a welcome respite from the hustle-bustle of the city environment. At Priest Lake you’ll experience crystal clear water, clean air, and vividly luminous skies where every star sparkles with a brilliance that has been long forgotten in city skies.

Priest Lake is a place to recreate, reflect and relax. Your time is your own with endless opportunities to create those special moments with family and friends. Picture yourself on a peaceful lakeside stroll on a warm Indian summer evening or roasting marshmallows over a beach fire while counting shooting stars as they fall endlessly from the sky. Either way, you have discovered the allure of Priest Lake. It’s a feeling you never get over.

North Idaho’s Priest Lake is located just 90 minutes by car from the Spokane, Washington, and Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, I-90 corridor. Idaho State Highway 57 links Priest Lake with US Highway 2 at the city of Priest River. Spokane International Airport is the closest commercial airline facility. A small public airport with an asphalt runway is located in Priest River, 30 miles south of the lake. Two seasonal grass airstrips are located at Priest Lake and float planes are allowed on the lake.

Detailed information on Priest Lake recreational activities, attractions, calendar of events, lodging, campgrounds, weather, etc. is available on their website, priestlake.org or by calling the Priest Lake Chamber of Commerce at 1-888-774-3785. The website contains a link to the free Priest Lake Trails App, that will acquaint you with the beauty and activities of Priest Lake–“WAY UP NORTH IN IDAHO” where you will arrive as a visitor, but will be welcomed, treated and treasured as a friend.
